AI & Copilot
AI in your translation process — under your control
Broca doesn’t bolt a “translate with AI” button onto your tools. AI is a step in your workflow, fed by your own content, framed by filters and always followed by human revision.
How it works
A deterministic pipeline, not a bot that improvises
Every document always follows the same path, step by step, and every step is observable. No unexpected actions, no tools called at random.
Segmentation
The document is segmented while keeping its formatting.
Context
For each sentence, Broca retrieves your memory matches, approved terms and reference documents.
Protective filter
Every segment is checked before it reaches the model. A suspicious segment is held back, and the manager sees which one and why.
Translation
The model translates following your exact matches and only handles the new content.
Validation
The output is checked, then reassembled into the original format.
Human revision
The linguist revises in the editor, seeing exactly the same context as the model.
Your content, not the internet
AI that speaks like your organization
AI translation is only as good as what it is shown. Broca shows it your own history: sentences already translated and approved, your terminology, your reference documents. Where your memory already has the answer, it is reused as is.
- Translation memory matches injected sentence by sentence.
- Search across your reference documents, scoped to each client.
- You choose, request by request: memory only, machine translation, AI or human.

The Broca agent
Broca in Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude
Employees and managers talk to Broca in the assistant they already use. The agent acts on behalf of the signed-in user, with exactly their permissions — and every change is shown to them for confirmation first.
- Submit a request, attach files and get an estimate.
- Track a request, retrieve the deliverables.
- Search the translation memory and terminology, propose a term.
- For managers: coordinate, assign, deliver.

Questions about AI
Do we have to use AI to use Broca?
No. AI is an option, enabled per request or per client. Broca remains a complete translation management platform without it.
Are AI translations revised?
You define the workflow. In practice, our customers have AI translations revised by a linguist, who sees the same matches as the model in the editor.
Can the agent do more than the user?
No. The agent acts with the signed-in user’s permissions: what a user cannot do in Broca, they cannot do through the agent. And no change runs without their confirmation.
